Description
The TrustFire H5R is an ip68 waterproof headlamp that shrugs off dust, rain and sweat, making it a reliable choice for mountaineering, hiking, running and cycling. Two LEDs rated for up to 50000 hours give a maximum of 600 lumens, and the 150 degree flood design lights a wide area so you can see the trail edges as well as the path ahead.
There are five modes in total, four for everyday use plus strobe, all on a single easy button. A constant current circuit keeps brightness steady, and the anti-reverse design protects the circuit if the battery goes in the wrong way. It uses one rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion cell and charges by micro USB with power detection.
The body is aviation aluminum with a hard anodized finish, and double ultra-thin lenses keep it compact. A skin-friendly silicone bracket adjusts through 180 degrees, and the reflective, sweat-wicking headband is comfortable on long efforts and adds visibility. As a hiking headlamp that handles wet weather, this ip68 waterproof headlamp is lightweight and practical.
