Description
A 12kN keychain carabiner gives your keys and everyday gear a strong, reliable clip without the bulk of a full climbing carabiner. This D-shaped aluminum snap hook is rated at 12kN pulling force and weighs only about 24 to 29g, so it sits comfortably on a belt loop or pack strap all day.
The snap gate makes it quick to clip and unclip with one hand. Choose from blue or black in the 7802 or 7802TN versions to suit your style. Use it to hang keys, a water bottle, a small pouch or a headlamp from your backpack, or to keep camp gear organized on a tent loop.
It is important to note that it is not designed for personal protective use, so do not use it for climbing, rappelling or holding body weight. For hikers, campers and everyday carry fans, though, it is a sturdy, lightweight upgrade over flimsy keyring clips and a handy addition to your camping accessories. Clip a 12kN keychain carabiner to your pack and keep the essentials within easy reach.
