The STASHLITE dyneema stake pouch is about as light as stake storage gets, with a verified weight of just 4.3 g (0.15 oz). It keeps your tent stakes together in your pack without adding weight you will ever notice, which makes it a natural fit for ultralight backpackers and thru-hikers counting every gram.
The pouch uses a smart material mix: a 17 cm Dyneema DCF upper keeps weight low, while a 5 cm UHMWPE Gridstop 210D base adds abrasion resistance in the high-wear zone where sharp stake tips sit. It fits standard stakes up to 18 cm (7.09 in), folds flat when empty and expands to hold multiple stakes. The open-top design has no closure, so stakes go in and out fast at camp.
It is also handy beyond tent stakes, with room for a pen, toothbrush, chopsticks or other slim essentials. Each pouch is crafted from performance fabric offcuts, so nothing goes to waste. Note that the fabric is splash resistant with no seam sealing, so it is not fully waterproof or meant for submersion. For a minimalist dyneema stake pouch, this one is hard to beat.
