Description
This thermometer compass kit brings simple analog instruments together in a polished zinc metal housing, so you can read temperature and humidity at a glance on the trail, at camp or in the car. The dials show both Celsius and Fahrenheit, and the sensitive needles respond to changes in conditions without batteries.
Several versions are available, including a thermometer and hygrometer set and compass combinations, so you can choose the mix of instruments that suits your trips. Each comes with a temperature clip and a reflective rope, making it easy to hang from a pack strap, a tent loop or a rear view mirror and find again in low light. The maker designs these for outdoor use and for cars, which makes the kit a neat crossover between hiking gear and road trip camping gadgets.
If you like knowing how cold it got overnight or how humid the forest is before you pitch, a thermometer compass kit is a small, satisfying tool to carry. The metal body feels solid in hand and is sized to clip on and forget until you want a reading.
