Description
Vacuum compression storage bags make bulky clothing, jackets and bedding take up a fraction of the room, which is exactly what you want when packing a car for a long weekend. This set pairs reusable plastic bags with a compact electric pump, so you can shrink a load of gear without a household vacuum.
The pump weighs just 125 g and measures 35 x 48 x 140 mm, small enough to stash in a glovebox or duffel. It moves air at 200 L/min with 4.5 kPa of deflation pressure and is powered by a built-in 1500mAh (5.55Wh) rechargeable battery, achieving a compression rate of up to 80 percent. Bags come in several sizes, including small 40 x 50 cm, medium 40 x 60 cm and large 50 x 60 cm, and you can choose sets of 10, 15 or 20 bags with the pump, or refill packs of five bags.
Use them to flatten sleeping bags, puffer jackets and spare clothes before a camping trip, keep the trunk tidy on road trips, or store seasonal bedding at home. As travel car accessories go, vacuum compression storage bags are one of the simplest ways to free up space so the rest of your gear actually fits.
