Description
This zoomable hunting headlamp is built for nights when you need to see without disturbing wildlife. Animal eyes are not very sensitive to red and green light, so you can observe, hunt or fish after dark with less chance of scaring anything off. The UV 395nm purple version is handy around the house too, helping you find pet stains on carpets and furniture.
The light uses an XPG LED in an aluminum alloy and ABS housing, with three modes: strong, low and burst flash. You can adjust the focus to switch from a wide spread to a tighter beam, and the head tilts 90 degrees up and down to follow the trail ahead. A red warning light on the back makes you easier to see when moving at night.
The elastic headband has three adjustment buckles, and the lamp detaches so you can fix it to a bike, belt or tabletop. It runs on 18650 lithium batteries, with options sold with or without them. If you want a zoomable hunting headlamp that doubles as a hiking flashlight on camping trips, this one is a versatile pick.
