Description
This zoomable aluminum headlamp is built from aluminum alloy and ABS, with a twist zoom that moves from a wide flood to a tighter beam. It is a solid choice for camping, mountain climbing, hunting, night fishing and other after-dark outdoor sports.
The lamp cycles through strong light, weak light and flash, and it recharges over micro USB. You can choose a version with an 18650 battery or without a battery if you already carry spares. It is described as rainproof and splashproof, so a passing shower is not a problem, though it is not designed for submersion.
An adjustable, elastic head band makes it quick to put on and take off, even over a beanie. At about 290 g it has a sturdy, substantial feel suited to work around camp, the boat ramp or the vehicle, and the simple button layout is easy to find in the dark. If you are comparing hiking headlamp options and want zoom control plus a tough metal body, this zoomable aluminum headlamp delivers practical, focused light wherever the night takes you.
